With safety Gerald Sensabaugh leaving in free agency the Jaguars have signed former Eagles safety Sean Considine to a 2 year $3 million deal. It works out as a push for the Jaguars and saves a bit of money. They still need an upgrade but probably won't get one. The Eagles will be shopping at safety with Brian Dawkins heading to Denver and Considine gone as well. They may look at Jermaine Phillips or Sean Jones...
The Jaguars opened free agency focusing on their own, resigning center Brad Meester and cornerback Scott Starks. This is a wise start after their bungled attempts in free agency last year...
The Saints are also looking at Jaguars tackle Khalif Barnes. He would replace Jon Stinchcomb who is a free agent and getting a look from the 49ers...
The Patriots got another big name running back to add depth. This year it's former Jaguars RB Fred Taylor who comes in to make a splash. This wil be the best addition since Corey Dillion for the Patriots backfield. Taylor is getting up there in years but has something left and could be a steal for the Patriots. The Bills were also interested, but the Patriots won out...
