The Patriots Patriots surprised some people who expected a corner... lineman was discussed incorrectly as well, they selected LB Jerod Mayo at #10. It is a good pick, he is versatile and they have major, major needs at inside linebacker. Corner is a need but remember they have done well with low round corners, Randall Gay started in a Super Bowl as a rookie and he was undrafted. Mayo could be the heir apparent to Bruschi as he is smart and quick. A surprise, but a very good pick
