| 49ers take Kentwan Balmer | |||

Saturday Apr 26th, 2008 The 49ers selected DT Kentwan Balmer with the #29 pick in round one. They wanted to improve the offensive line. He will play end in their 3-4 defense. That means Isaac Sopoaga will likely move to the nose tackle spot. Not a great pick but solid. They need to rush the passer and that comes from the linebackers in a 3-4, that may be next as they are up early in round two |
